UPC-HP Chair
Purpose
The aim of the UPC-HP Chair is to promote knowledge and enable the UPC community to interact with the most advanced technologies of Industry 4.0 and Digital Manufacturing. The new Chair has a cross-cutting scope among all UPC units and its headquarters is located at the ESEIAAT. Its activity is oriented towards R+D+i, knowledge dissemination, technology transfer, and scientific and technological dissemination in digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0.

The technology company HP is advancing in its commitment to Catalan talent with the creation of the UPC-HP Chair at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. The new Chair will promote complementary training for university students, as well as foster collaboration between the company and the university in innovation and development. Through the Chair, the participation of students in activities and project development within the scope of Bachelor's and Master's Thesis, with a possible orientation towards entrepreneurship, multidisciplinary approaches, and alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), will be promoted and supported.
